Coming either from the West or the East on Highway 54: take the US 15-501 exit south to Pittsboro. Within a quarter mile of the turnoff, turn left onto Mount Carmel Church Road. Go 2 miles until you see Clearwater Lake Road on the right (this is just after the green fluorescent “Share the Road” bicycle sign on the right). Take Clearwater Lake Road to the end. Woodside Trail is a steep drive to the right just before the cul-de-sac. Look for my shop on the left immediately as you turn up Woodside Trail. Parking is best down on the grassy verge on Clearwater lake Road.

From Raleigh, take Highway 64 west toward Pittsboro. At Wilsonville, just before you come to Jordan Lake, turn right onto Fearrington Road. This road will morph into Mount Carmel Church Road (a slight left bearing turn) a couple of miles after crossing the lake twice. Turn left onto Clearwater Lake Road just after the Aqueduct Conference Center on the right. Take Clearwater Lake Road to the end. Woodside Trail is a steep drive to the right just before the cul-de-sac. Look for my shop on the left immediately as you turn up Woodside Trail.
