Registering for Workshops
My
workshops are focused on building skills and learning techniques
using hand tools. I am happy to have complete beginners in my
workshop, particularly the skill and technique oriented workshops.
The best way to develop new skills is to be free to make mistakes and
learn from them. This is ambiance that I strive to maintain and my
goal is to establish a constructive learning environment where
students can laugh at and with each other as they explore hand tool
woodworking. Occasionally we may use a power tools, but this is rare.
Workshops are often labor intensive. That’s the downside! The
flip-side is that you will learn to use hand tools efficiently and
effectively, and I guarantee you will be surprised at what you can
accomplish. Project oriented workshops may require some prior
experience so please inquire.
